Stephen Morris

Stephen Morris is a retired Deputy Fire Chief from a highly respected and innovative fire department in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He has 27 years of experience in career Fire Departments and over 34 years of experience when combined with his volunteer firefighting service. He has extensive experience in emergency services administration, organizational development, leadership & management, budgeting, policy development, emergency action planning & NIMS, fire & life safety education, and fire code enforcement. He also served on the build team for the regional computer aided dispatch system and subsequently served as the fire department’s CAD manager working with the emergency communications center routinely. Steve brings a lifelong dedication to the public safety industry and a purpose driven work ethic, that is crucial in meeting each client’s needs.
Steve has a B.S. in Fire Science and a master’s in management and leadership. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program and holds the Chief Fire Officer credential from the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
