Berkley Group’s planning team recently completed a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of Frederick County’s Zoning Ordinance to identify current strengths and recommendations for further alignment with the Code of Virginia, planning best practices, and the County’s Comprehensive Plan. Through multiple sessions, including virtual meetings, a focus group with regional stakeholders, and an in-person work session with the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission, we developed a policy report that will guide Frederick County toward effective, sustainable growth.
