The Berkley Group has partnered with Albemarle County, Virginia, to modernize and streamline their current Zoning Ordinance through a full ordinance rewrite. We kicked off the new year by hosting a community open house for the project. This introduced the community to the project, discussed the phased approach of the work, provided the project schedule, and shared the work that has been done on the project thus far. Albemarle County and Berkley Group staff were available to answer questions from community members regarding the project and received topic feedback related to the first two phases of the project.
This open house was a success, with over 40 community members coming out to learn about project. The team looks forward to getting more public input about the project through continued public engagement opportunities in future phases of the project.
